Further expansion in England for Perform Panel
This follows the successful launch of our first English distribution centre in Birmingham in September 2021, in response to increasing demand for the products across the UK and Europe.
We are delighted to announce that Perform Panel has opened its second distribution centre in England.
Located at the Shortwood Business Park in Barnsley, the 4,500ft2 centre is our second location to open in England in the last 12 months. This follows the successful launch of our first English distribution centre in Birmingham in September 2021, in response to increasing demand for the products across the UK and Europe.
The site has created four full-time positions, with further recruitment anticipated, demonstrating commitment to the area and generating new opportunities in local employment within the depot and van fleet.
Nigel Tipper, Business Development Manager with 28 years’ experience in the panel industry, will be leading sales in the area.
Steve Galbraith, Managing Director at Nu-Style Products, comments: “We are incredibly excited to be opening our distribution centre in Barnsley. We already have good trading in the north of England and this site will allow us to further enhance our delivery service to our customers and continue Perform Panel’s growth.
“The team has a wealth of experience and we are committed to providing customers in the area with their panel requirements. This depot is further commitment to Nu-Style’s strategy of having a nationwide delivery service.”
Andrew Donaldson, CEO of the Donaldson Group, adds: “The second distribution centre opening in England in the last year is a great investment for Perform Panel, Nu-Style and the Donaldson Group as a whole. It’s a really
exciting time for the company; Nu-Style has another distribution centre location set to open in Summer 2023, with further expansion set for 2024.
“The team offers a fast, reliable and quality distribution service and we’re delighted to bring this expansion to Barnsley and the surrounding Yorkshire area.”
