Perform Panel Expands into England

In September, we opened our first distribution site in England, based in Solihull near Birmingham, as the first stage of our physical expansion into England. The location of the site was chosen strategically as it allows easier access to customers, meaning quicker lead times and more efficiency, which our customers are already benefitting from.

This expansion forms part of a five-year strategy for Perform Panel, which has included a £1 million investment to increase both capacity and quality. New machinery and an upgraded site have substantially increased production capacity for Perform Panel, and ultimately enables us to better service our customers.

Since beginning operations on 6^th September 2021, ten jobs are to be created at the 6,000m² site within the first six months, with six people already employed. Birmingham-based Brandon Townsend has been appointed as operations depot manager, joining the business from glass manufacturing company, Pilkington NSG.

We can directly service as far North as Sheffield, and as far South as Andover, and everywhere in between from our distribution centre currently, and with our team set to grow, as well as our fleet of vehicles, look out for more Perform Panel trucks on motorways near you as we continue to expand our reach.
