1,400 Argon Perform Panel sheets were supplied for the wet rooms and bathrooms of a social housing development in Kilmarnock, Scotland. The project consists of 67 new build social rented properties. This site has been developed due to the high demand around the Bellfield area of Kilmarnock with general needs and community care housing.
The development has been carried out by CCG (Scotland) Ltd, an industry leader for innovation in construction. CCG is a large privately-owned construction and manufacturing company, based in Scotland.
The panels were specified initially to be 1,200mm wide, but the team on-site quickly realised that this was too wide to fit inside the corridors of the new builds comfortably. With good collaboration and communication between the CCG and the Perform Panel team, we were able to quickly resolve this issue and produce the panels at 600mm wide for the client to ensure they were easier to install.

The East Ayrshire Council specified the project and our Perform Panel bathroom panels were chosen for their low maintenance and easy clean qualities. The client was looking for a matt surface board for the wet rooms of the development that was not only low maintenance, but that looked modern and stylish inside the newly built homes. The panels were used to cover the walls of the full wet room areas.
